About
Sky Cloud Prep is an online practice exam platform for Microsoft Azure certifications. We focus on the three Azure Fundamentals exams — DP-900 (Data Fundamentals), AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), and SC-900 (Security, Compliance, and Identity) — because these are the most common starting points for professionals entering cloud, and the existing study materials for them range from scattered to outdated.
The platform is built and maintained from the Netherlands. Our company is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 42054816).
Why we built this
The most common complaint about Azure exam prep is that practice questions feel nothing like the real exam. Many platforms recycle questions from leaked dumps, which fail as learning tools and often contain incorrect answers. Others generate questions that test vocabulary rather than understanding — asking you to name a service without ever requiring you to choose between two similar ones.
Azure fundamentals exams are scenario-based. Nearly every question on the real exam presents a business situation and asks which Azure service, policy, or design decision fits it. Preparing with vocabulary-style questions leaves a candidate unprepared for that format. Sky Cloud Prep is built around scenario questions because that is what the real exam asks.
How we create and vet questions
Every question on Sky Cloud Prep is written against the current Microsoft official skill outline for the relevant exam. We use Microsoft Learn as the primary source of truth for all factual claims — passing scores, domain weightings, service capabilities, and pricing. When Microsoft updates an exam objective, we update the affected questions.
Our question review process checks three things: factual accuracy against Microsoft documentation, scenario plausibility (does this actually reflect a real decision someone would make?), and distractor quality (are the wrong answers meaningfully wrong, not just obviously different?). Questions that fail any of these checks are rewritten before going live.
Explanations are written to teach, not just to confirm. Every answer — correct and incorrect — includes a reason. For incorrect options, the explanation describes the scenario in which that answer would be correct, so candidates learn the full decision space rather than a single fact.
